Obtaining a residence permit in Bulgaria
You entered Bulgaria on a D visa - now the main thing is not to delay. You need to apply for a residence permit before the expiration of the visa, that is, within 6 months from the date of entry. It is better not to delay - some stages take time.
Important: Applying for a residence permit is possible only while on the territory of Bulgaria. If the D visa expires earlier, you will have to leave and start the process again.
