Work under an employment contract with a Bulgarian employer – a single residence and work permit on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Unified residence and work permit for members. 24i ZCHRB is a residence permit in Bulgaria for foreign citizens employed by a Bulgarian employer. Unlike Digital Nomad, an official employment contract with a Bulgarian company is required here.
The permit is issued for a period of up to 1 year with the possibility of annual renewal. It confirms both the right to reside and the right to work in Bulgaria – two documents in one, which simplifies the legalization of migrant workers.
The employer is obliged to submit a prior notification to the Employment Agency. The average processing time is 4-6 weeks. The main conditions are a valid employment contract, confirmed professional qualifications and sufficient income at a level not lower than the average salary in the industry.

Conclusion of an employment contract
The Bulgarian employer enters into an employment contract with you. Working conditions and remuneration must comply with the requirements of the Bulgarian labor legislation and not lower than the average salary in the industry.
Employment Agency Notification
The employer submits a notification to the Employment Agency (Employment Agency) to obtain a permit to hire a foreign worker. This is a mandatory preliminary stage.
Preparation of a package of documents
Collect personal documents: passport, diploma of education with apostille and notarized translation, certificate of no criminal record, health insurance, documents on the place of residence.
Submission to the migration service
The employer or his representative submits an application for a single permit to the Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In some cases, it is possible to apply through the Bulgarian consulate abroad.
Obtaining a residence permit card
After approval, you will receive a card for a single residence and work permit for a period of 1 year. The card gives the right to legally live in Bulgaria and work for the specified employer.

Arbetsförmedlingen Authorisation
Prior permission from the employer to hire a foreign specialist is a mandatory document.
Health Insurance
A policy valid throughout Bulgaria with coverage of at least 30,000 EUR.
Passport
A valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission of documents.
Certificate of no criminal record
Extract from the police of the country of origin with an apostille and a notarized translation.
