Registration of a trade representative office for a foreign company in the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) – the basis for obtaining a residence permit for representatives.
A trade mission (TP) is the official body of a foreign company in Bulgaria, representing its interests without the right to independent economic activity. TP is engaged in negotiations with partners, advertising, marketing research and promotion of goods and services of the parent company.
Employees of the trade mission are entitled to a residence permit in Bulgaria in accordance with Article 24, paragraph 1, para. 6 ZCHRB. Representatives can be the founders or employees of a foreign company, as well as third parties not directly related to it.
An important advantage: all actions for the registration of a TP and the preparation of documents for a D visa can be performed without your presence in Bulgaria. A ready-made package of documents is sent to you by mail. The full preparation period is 3-4 weeks.

Consultation and selection of an option

Collection and legalization of documents

Registration of a TP in the BCCI
We submit documents to the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. After registration, we enter the representatives in the BCCI register and register the TP with BULSTAT and the Tax Service (NAP).
Obtaining a certificate and certificates
We get the decision of the BCCI with an inscribed representative, an up-to-date certificate of the trade mission and a certificate from the National Commercial Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the absence of tax debts.
Sending a package of documents for a D visa
We will send you a ready-made package of documents for applying for a D visa by DHL mail. We help you fill out the application form for a visa D. You submit documents to the Bulgarian consulate in your country.
Obtaining a residence permit in Bulgaria
After entering Bulgaria with a D visa, you submit documents to the migration service and get a residence permit card for 1 year. A residence permit is renewed annually with the current TP status.
Documents for registration of TP and obtaining a residence permit
Incorporation documents of the company
Notarized copies of the articles of association, certificate of incorporation and other constituent documents of the foreign company.
Power of attorney from the director
Notarized consent of the head of the company to register the TP and appoint specific representatives.
Passports of representatives
Scanned copies of passports of all persons who will be entered in the TP and will be entitled to a residence permit.
Certificate of no criminal record
Extract from the police of the country of origin with an apostille and a notarized translation into Bulgarian.
Health Insurance
A policy valid on the territory of Bulgaria with coverage of at least 30,000 EUR per representative.
Residence Documents
Apartment lease agreement or property documents in Bulgaria. If you have your own real estate, a lease agreement is not required.
