The capital of Catalonia is known all over the world as the center of tourist and cultural life in Western Europe. This is an example that Burgas will be guided by.

Firstly, it is planned to gradually move industrial zones further to the north and west of the city. In their place, a large park will be laid, places for recreation and various cultural institutions will be created. It is planned to recultivate the soil and plant protective green spaces near the LUKOIL plant.

Secondly, much attention is promised to be paid to the development of infrastructure – public and bicycle transport. Bicycle alleys and pedestrian paths will be built, as well as three bypass roads to reduce car traffic in the city.
