The National Tax Collection Agency (NAP) of Bulgaria is introducing a new service – a personal identification code for mobile applications. With its help, citizens and business representatives will be able to access up-to-date information about the status of their tax account, including through a smartphone. The new initiative was announced by the director of the Bulgarian National Aviation Agency, Boyko Atanasov.

According to the chief tax officer, the new service will make the process of exchanging information between the National Tax Agency on the one hand, citizens and businesses on the other more convenient and efficient. The mobile application will make it possible not only to check the status of accounts. It will also send notifications about all the Agency's innovations. At the same time, Mr. Atanasov stressed that the NPA does not plan to "completely go online." All "physical" services that have worked so far also remain in place.
