Extension of residence permit in Bulgaria (residence permit) after the lifting of the state of emergency…


Official Publication of the Republic of Bulgaria "Darzhaven Vestnik" published the Law on Measures and Actions in a State of Emergency (PE) and thus it entered into force and amended the Aliens Act.
§ 11 In the Law for Alienation in the Republic of Bulgaria….se the following additions are ruled:
  1. In Member. 24 se sýzdava al. 13:
"(13) A stranger is allowed to prodolzhitno prebivane in the Republic of Bulgaria, for a certain term for prebivane iztich in the term for an obavenno izvarnredno position, mozhe da podide an application for prodolzhjavane na prebivaneto in 14 days sled obyanata na izvýnrednoto polozhene, kato srokt't na obyavenoto izvúnredno polozhene ne se sched as prek'svane, kogato the foreign national podide prodıdı za dúlgostri or permanently prebivane. Prolzhestvenno prebivashcha chuzhdenets, na koito prodolzhitno prodolzhitvenno prebvatane iztich v sovyanno izvarytno polozhenno, mozhe da vlezhe na territoriata na Replika Bulgaria bez posedeniya na zavisimo v 14-dneven svyazhenno sledovane izmyanata na izv'nrednoto polozhennoto."
If during the declared state of emergency in Bulgaria the period of stay expires, then he can extend the residence permit within 14 days after the lifting of the state of emergency. Those foreigners who have already expired their residence permit in Bulgaria who are outside the territory of Bulgaria will be able to enter the country without a visa within 14 days after the cancellation of the state of emergency.
