2. Prices in two currencies
From the end of 2025 and throughout 2026, the price tags will be double:
- price in euros,
- Price in BGN.
The same font, no rounding "up" – everything is at the official exchange rate.
3. Bank accounts and loans will be recalculated automatically.
On January 1, banks themselves will transfer:
- accounts,
- deposits,
- loans,
- Recurring payments
in euros, at a fixed rate.
The terms of the contracts do not change.
There is no commission for the transition.
4. Cash leva: how the exchange will take place
In January, levs can be used as usual.
5. It is best to pay by card
The bank itself will recalculate the amount at the official exchange rate – less confusion and the risk of making a mistake with the change.
