From the next academic year, 19 out of 41 public higher education institutions in the Republic of Bulgaria plan to increase the cost of tuition.
This is evidenced by the text posted on the site Ministry of Education of the draft resolution, which approves the new amounts of payments for training. So far, the project has been posted for public discussion, but if you plan to enter a particular university in the country in 2017, then the plans of the Alma Mater management should be taken into account.

In particular, the rectorate of the University of Sofia "Kliment Ohridski" intends to increase the annual payment for first-year students in 9 of its 16 faculties. For those who are already studying at the capital's university, prices will remain the same.

The University of Plovdiv does not plan to raise prices, unlike Varna and the University of Burgas. Representatives of universities explain their initiative by the fact that tuition prices have not changed over the past 10 years and immediately reassure that the cost will not increase significantly.
